Remora

The Remora (TM) by Bilge Saver is new technology designed to keep boats dry and safe by constantly monitoring and removing all bilge water.

Bilges in boats are traditionally wet, smelly, heavy, corrosive, hard to reach, hard to maintain and generally abused.  They are an oft-neglected safety issue, and if the pumps in the bilge break, the boat can sink.

The Remora keeps boats dry, not only solving the problems of your current bilge pump and float switch combinations, but completely changing the market’s expectation of what a dry bilge should look like. The Remora head is a compact suction device that sits directly in fluids at the lowest point of a wet bilge.  The Remora head is attached to the Remora engine, powered by 12v DC.  The power supply controls an inbuilt micro-processor, which remotely senses water to turn on and off a water pump.  The pump is situated high and dry in a PVC plastic housing higher than the bilge water, so none of the electronics ever gets wet.  This exponentially increases the life of the pump.

Pre-filters are included with your purchase and prevent the pump from being clogged by debris from the Bilge.  The two filters can be serviced and cleaned easily without opening the pump housing.

The Remora works seamlessly with our wifi enabled app.  When you first turn on the Remora the device turns on a wifi connection that you can reach through your phone.  Simply connect and then “sign in” to the Remora hotspot to bring up the options.  Application options through your phone include multiple automatic water sensing modes or manually controlled scheduling of both pump control and time delays.  Automatic is the default, so plug it in and walk away.  When you return, your bilge will be 100% dry.
