Barnacle

The Barnacle (TM) by Bilge Saver is an electronic switch designed to replace float switches for most makes and sizes of 12v and 24v centrifugal bilge pumps.

The Barnacle is installed inline between the battery and the bilge pump with 3 wire connections.  Inside a polycarbonate shell, the guts of the Barnacle are completely embedded in epoxy.  Barnacle components are free from corrosion or humidity and with no moving parts the Barnacle is a longer term sustainable solution to bilge pump management.  Importantly, the Barnacle can be placed anywhere on the boat for  convenient access and viewing.  A bright LED light on the front signals low voltage, over voltage, pump jam, standby mode and active pumping.  The Barnacle conserves power by turning on the bilge pump only when there is water present.
